Lessons are held weekly at Palmetto Farm (see Practice Location) on Mondays & Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, Tuesdays at 12:00 PM, and Fridays at 5:00 PM.  We usually meet about 1 hour before at Georgia State to carpool.  Our team coach is Bill Russell, an accomplished A-Circuit trainer, who has been coaching IHSA teams for over five years. It is recommended, that riders who plan on showing take one lesson per week. You do not need to own a horse to ride! Please contact GSUequestrian@yahoo.com to set up a lesson.

All riders must sign a waiver before riding at Palmetto Farm. We also keep a notebook for all Georgia State riders to record their lessons and lesson payment.

Lesson Fees:

• Group (3 or more riders): $35/hour
• Semi-Private (2 riders): $45/hour
• Private (1 rider):$65/hour

All club members are required to participate in at least one fundraising event per year. University funding is extremely limited, and so we must raise money to continue each year.

Team Volunteering

All club members are required to volunteer with the team atleast once per semester.  The team will arrange for volunteering oportunities through out the semester.
